Welcome to St Peter's School

Sixth FormSt Peter's School is proud of its inclusive Sixth Form. We have a broad and balanced curriculum to meet the needs, interests and learning styles of all students who attend our Sixth Form. This means that students can choose to follow a traditional academic A Level programme, or can take a more vocational path, choosing courses that build practical skills at the same time as developing academic abilities.Joining the Sixth Form is not just about achieving good grades - it is also about developing other key skills that will help students to become more employable. Students can do this through a range of enrichment opportunities including everything from organising fund raising activities to taking part in work experience or cultural trips. We pride ourselves on the pastoral care in the Sixth Form and every student is assigned a mentor who they will meet on a regular basis to discuss academic progress, concerns and plans for the future. This excellent individualised support and rigorous academic target-setting ensures that the majority of our students go on to study at university or are offered good apprenticeships.
