Course summary

Are you passionate about the language you are learning? Do you want to explore the culture and traditions of the countries where that language is spoken? Do you love grammar? The A-Level Modern Foreign Languages courses focus on improving communication in your foreign language in a variety of situations, exploring the diversity of different cultures and developing key analytical skills. Most importantly, they encourage you to develop a love for learning languages. This course would appeal to students who enjoy their GCSE language studies and want the opportunity to learn about the culture, history, literature, film and lifestyle of the countries where that language is spoken.
