Entry Requirements

9-4 grades (or equivalent) in at least five GCSE subjects (please note that double awards, BTECs etc. are still counted by subject). A minimum of grade 4 (or equivalent) in both GCSE English and Mathematics. It is reasonable to assume that students will have achieved qualifications equivalent to grade ‘6’ in GCSE. Skills in Literacy/English and other Humanities will provide a good basis for progression to this qualification. Some students will have already gained knowledge, understanding, and skills through their study of Religious Studies in earlier key stages including GCSE. Sound analytical skills and the ability to read, understand and utilise various texts and scholarly works are essential.
