Assessment

Component 1- Portfolio Investigation (60%): a sustained project evidencing the journey from initial engagement to the realisation and development of a final piece. The portfolio will also include a 1000-3000 word essay linking to the practical project. Component 2- Externally Set Exam (40%): students will respond to a chosen starting point and develop a series of investigations in preparation towards producing a final piece.
