Assessment

Work is assessed on a pass, merit, distinction, distinction* grading. The National diploma is the equivalent to 2 A levels and will be delivered over two years; students must complete 8 units over 2 years; 6 are mandatory and 2 are optional. 3 of these 8 units are external exam elements. The National Extended Certificate is the equivalent to 1 A level and will be delivered over two years; 4 units to be completed over 2 years; 3 are mandatory and 2 are optional. 2 units are external exam elements.
