Health Studies

Course summary

This course gives you the opportunity to learn from health and social care experts, and to take part in work-related learning on placements in the community. These placements will give you an edge and can open the door to higher education or employment. The course includes equality, diversity and rights; human growth and development, safeguarding, and communication. Practical sessions will take place using our on-site resources including our ‘hospital room’ where you can try out new skills in a safe environment before going out into your placement setting. You can take GCSE maths alongside this course too.
