Assessment

Students will be assessed using the four assessment objectives detailed by AQA for the Level course and given a mark out of 96 in total. Scores are determined by teaching staff using external assessment criteria from AQA after being internally checked by two staff then verified by a visiting moderator from the exam board. These will be tracked and updated during the course as work is developed and then submitted to the board for both units after the 15 hours of controlled conditions in the summer of year 13.
