Course summary

The essence of product design is the relationship between people and products. This course links artistic flair with in-depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and materials to produce usable and aesthetically pleasing products. Studying product design also promotes an understanding of everyday objects and the technology used to produce them.
