Course summary

This course is divided into Biological topics each containing different key concepts of Biology. Once the key features of a Biological topic have been developed, applications are considered. In this course we encourage students to develop their interest and enthusiasm for Biology, including developing an interest in careers and further study in Biology and to develop and demonstrate a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of how science works and develop essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of Biology and how they relate to each other. Students who take Biology A Level gain a pathway to many university courses and careers such as Medicine, Sports Science, Physiotherapy, Ecology and many more.
