Assessment

To support of the teaching and learning in class, you will be expected to complete work outside of lessons. You will be guided in this through tasks set and be given access to a wide range of resources to help your independent study. Throughout the course, you will receive feedback on your progress in lessons and on specific key pieces of work. In addition each main topic will be assessed by a written test. The final examination consists of three separate papers assessing knowledge from the whole course. Paper 1 will just contain pure mathematics; Paper 2, both pure and mechanics; and Paper 3 will have another two sections covering pure and statistics.
