A Level Physical Education
Assessment
The A-Level Physical Education is 70% theory and 30% non-exam assessment (practical performance), of which 15% is based on students assessed in the role of player/performer or coach, and 15% is analysis and evaluation of performance. Practical/Coaching Examination: A combination of multiple choice, short and extended questions. Activities for assessment: Boxing, Football, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Canoeing, Cricket, Cycling, Dance, Diving, Golf, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Equestrian, Kayaking, Lacrosse, Netball, Rock Climbing, Rowing, Rugby, Skiing, Snowboarding, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Trampolining, Volleyball. Students are assessed as a player or coach in the full-sided version of one activity (15%) Written/verbal analysis of performance (15%).
