If you choose to study geography, you will be assessed on 3 main components: Component 1: Physical Geography • There will be an exam on 3 modules - Water and Carbon, Hazards and Costal Systems. • Worth 40% of overall A - level Component 2: Human Geography • There will be an exam on 3 modules - Global systems and Global Governance, Changing Places and Contemporary urban environments. • Worth 40% of overall A - level Component 3: Geographical Investigation • Individual investigation including data collected out in the field.
