Assessment

To support of the teaching and learning in class, you will be expected to complete work outside of lessons. You will be guided in this through tasks set and the use of online resources. Throughout the course, you will receive feedback on your progress in lessons and on specific key pieces of work. In addition, each main topic will be assessed by a written test. The final examination consists of three separate papers assessing knowledge from the whole course. Paper 1 and Paper 2 will both just contain pure mathematics; Paper 3 has 2 sections, one for each of the chosen applied units, discrete mathematics and mechanics.
