Assessment

Lessons will consist of theory or practical-based sessions generally within a science laboratory and you will be taught by experienced teachers. In support of the teaching and learning in class you will be expected to complete study pack tasks and follow Royal Society of Biology conventions for all of the 8 topics. Each topic will be assessed by an end of unit test and you will receive feedback for key pieces of work. The final examination consists of 3 separate papers assessing knowledge from the whole course and culminates in a 25-mark synoptic essay question.
