Assessment

Experienced teachers will support you during theory and practical based work, most taking place in our well equipped science laboratories. The teaching and learning will be supported by a course textbook, and various other resources including packs of past questions and online materials. Key assessments will take place every half-term, feedback will be given and students are expected to act on feedback and plan their next steps to improve. The final examination consists of three separate papers, the first two examining the compulsory components taught over the two years, and the final examining the option topic, practical skills and data analysis.
