Course summary
An Assistant Accountant provides support to internal and external customers and will work predominately either as an assistant accountant within practice or alternatively within the finance function of an organisation. The apprentice will study the core knowledge, skills and behaviours as laid out in the apprenticeship plan including knowledge of Business Awareness, IT Systems and Processes, Ethical Standards, Financial Accounting and Reporting, and Management Accounting, the apprentice will acquire and be able to demonstrate their skills to include Analysis, Communication, Produce Quality and Accurate Information, Use Systems and Processes, and Problem Solve. Behaviours studied will include Embracing Change, Adding Value, Ethics and Integrity, Personal Accountability, Productivity and Team working and Collaboration.
