Entry Requirements

- You will need a broad and enthusiastic interest in the social and political developments which have helped to shape Britain and the Modern World. You should also enjoy studying a range of different historical periods and individuals. You should be willing to take part in discussions and be ready to read around the subject in order to build upon the understanding you will develop within lessons. You should also be keen to reflect upon the views of historians and to assess the perspectives offered by a wide range of different source materials. It is expected that students wishing to take this course will have achieved at least a Level 6 in GCSE History. - At least 6 GCSE subjects at Grade 6 or above. - At least a Grade 5 in English. - At least a Grade 5 in Mathematics.
