Assessment

The course is 100% exam-based – you will sit three papers in May and June of Year 13. Paper 1: will cover biological molecules, cells, and organisms as well as relevant practical skills. Paper 2: will cover energy transfer in and between organisms, how organisms respond to changes in their internal and external environments, genetics, populations, evolution and ecosystems, the control of gene expression as well as relevant practical skills. Paper 3: will cover any of the content from the 2 years and will include an essay question.
