Mathematical Studies

Course summary

Core Mathematics builds on GCSE Mathematics, with a particular focus on problem-solving skills. Students will consider and tackle Mathematics in meaningful contexts, including financial applications and statistical ideas. These can help with other A Level subjects, including Geography, Business Studies, Economics, and Psychology. The course is ideal for students who wish to continue to develop their mathematical skills but not study the A Level course. This is a one-year course.
