Course summary

Students will build on their GCSE knowledge of Physics, whether they have studied separate Physics GCSE or Trilogy Science. They will also be introduced to completely new concepts such as Particle Physics and Special Relativity. The first year consists of five units: - Measurements - Particles - Waves - Mechanics - Electricity The second year consists of three further units: - Further Mechanics - Fields and Nuclear Physics - A choice of Astrophysics, Medical Physics, Engineering Physics, Turning Points in Physics, and Electronics.
