Examination = 100% Component 1 – Examination: Modelling Physics (2 hours, 15 minutes – 37%) • Multiple choice and structured questions on Modules 1,2,3 and 5 Component 2 – Examination: Exploring Physics (2 hours, 15 minutes – 37%) • Multiple choice and structured questions on Modules 1,2,4 and 6 Component 3 – Examination: Unified Physics (1 hour, 30 minutes – 26%) • Structured questions on all modules including practical skills There is also a “practical endorsement” which is graded pass or fail but does not effect the A Level grade.
