Assessment

All components are assessed by written examination. Year 12 There will be an examination paper for each of the three components. Each paper, lasting 1½ hours, will consist of five questions. Candidates must choose three questions. Each paper will carry a 90-mark value and account for 33.3% of the qualification. Year 13 There will be an examination paper for each of the three components. Each paper, lasting 2 hours, will consist of five questions. Candidates must choose three questions. Each paper will carry a 120-mark value and account for 33.3% of the qualification.
