Candidates focus on three components: ➢ Philosophy of Religion ➢ Religious Ethics ➢ Developments in Religious Thought - Christianity Careers and skills: Religious Studies develops a range of skills such as critical thinking, textual knowledge, and evaluation. The subject will help you form incisive arguments, give you empathy for people whose beliefs and world views are different from your own, and help you to understand what it means to live in a culturally diverse world. The study of Religion, Ethics, and Philosophy will be useful for a variety of careers and courses: teaching, law, management, lecturing, ministry, medicine, advertising, Civil Service, journalism, business, philosophy, politics, police, social work, writer and any other careers which involve working with people from different cultural and social backgrounds.
