Course summary

This subject gives you a good oversight of how a range of different organisations operate including how businesses are set up and managed, how businesses advertise and market, and how they are structured. The course will also look at personal and business finance. What will I study? Year 12 Unit 1: Exploring Business: an overview of businesses, how they are set up, and how they are managed. Unit 2: Developing a marketing campaign: Students are required to plan a marketing campaign for a specific business. Year 13 Unit 3: Personal and Business Finance: You will learn how to manage debt and personal finance. You will also learn how large businesses manage their finances. Unit 8: Chosen Unit - Recruitment and Selection Process: Looking at how businesses advertise job roles and select candidates. (There is an opportunity to select a different unit based on personal career goals.)
