Entry Requirements

- Students who wish to study English Language at this level are expected to enjoy reading widely. Prospective students are expected to achieve grade 6 or above in both English Language and Literature at GCSE. They will be expected to show a real commitment to the subject and be prepared to extend their learning through independent study. Students should use the library regularly to access critical material to inform their understanding and develop their own critical interpretations. - 5 or more GCSE grades 5 - 9 (or equivalent), all of which must be full GCSE courses.
