Course summary

From the moment we’re born health and social care is part of every person’s life. Do you think about the different lives each person has and the ongoing support and care they need? If you are keen to develop your knowledge, skills and practical experience to prepare for an exciting, challenging and rewarding career and further study in health or social care, this is the course for you. This qualification is a two-year full-time course equivalent to two A Levels, for learners intending to go onto further study in a related sector.
