Course summary

The Travel and Tourism sector is undergoing major changes to adapt to the pandemic. With more of the world starting to open up there will be exciting opportunities in this fast-paced adaptable industry and you can be part of it. From working on the ground at an airport managing the customers experience or in the air as cabin crew, marketing or business management, sales, events, hospitality and finance to name but a few. The qualifications has been designed to provide an all-round introduction to the Travel and Tourism sector but also for you to gain transferrable skills into many different industries and university courses. The course uses real life events to expand on the theories learnt in the classroom. It works closely with recognised travel companies such Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Easyjet, TUI and various organisations at Gatwick Airport including Menzies Aviation and DHL. We also work closely with local hotels such as The Hilton Gatwick and Sofitel.
