Assessment

Paper 1 assesses Physical and Inorganic Chemistry topics. It is a 2 hour written exam accounting for 35% of the A level consisting of short and long answer questions. Paper 2 assesses Physical and Organic Chemistry topics. It is a 2 hour written exam accounting for 35% of the A level consisting of short and long answer questions. Paper 3 contains questions that assess Practical Skills and all aspects of the syllabus in a synoptic fashion. It is a 2 hour written exam accounting for 30% of the A level consisting of short and long answer questions as well as a series of multiple choice questions.
