Assessment

The course is assessed across three exams in Year 13 Paper 1 – Physiological Factors (30% of total A Level). Paper 2 – Psychological Factors (20% of total A Level). Paper 3 – Socio-Cultural Issues in Physical Activity (20% of total A Level). Coursework – Consisting of a log of performances completed across Year 12 and Year 13 followed by practical performance at a set location. Learners can also submit videos of themselves playing sports to support their grades (15% of total A Level).
