Course summary
Photography is a creative and practical course which combines technical aspects of photographic image with the creative aspect of composition. It is a course in which students can develop practical skills to express ideas through image manipulation, researching topical themes and understanding what makes an image. Students are introduced to a variety of experiences that explore a range of photographic media, techniques and processes and are made aware of both traditional and new technologies. You will develop your creativity, observation, research, investigation and experimentation skills through the use of a wide range of art materials and techniques. Presentation skills, analytical skills and knowledge of art history and photography will also be developed.
