Course summary

BTEC Health and Social Care comes under the Society department’s umbrella of subjects. Health and Social Care is a popular choice at KS5 for students wishing to gain a more practical hands on approach to learning. The course is the equivalent of 1 A level. By the end of the course students can choose a more academic pathway and move towards college or university or if they so wish they can choose to move into their chosen vocation. In addition to the core lessons, teachers are on hand to deliver support and guidance throughout the two years.
