Assessment

You will be assessed through a combination of teacher-assessed projects (coursework) and externally assessed examinations. You would be studying: Unit 1: Children’s Development (Exam) Unit 2: Development of Children’s Communication, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (Exam) Unit 3: Play and Learning (Coursework) PLUS one optional unit. (Coursework) The optional units to choose from include Keeping Children Safe, Children’s Physical Development, Care and Health Needs, Working with Parents and Others in Early Years and The Early Years Foundation Stage.
