Course summary

Are you interested in working with children and babies? Would you like to understand how children develop? Have you ever thought about why play is so important? If so, this could be the ideal course for you. Woodkirk Academy is pleased to be offering a KS5 qualification in Children’s Play, Learning and Development, designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to work within an early years sector or continue into higher education. The course also allows you to complete at least 2 different work experience placements to explore the roles of people working in the sector and allow you to link your theory with real-world practice.
