Maths (Core)
Assessment
Paper 1 (2 hours) 50% Paper 2 (2 hours) 50% We strongly encourage any students taking a social science or humanity subject (specifically geography), but not Maths A-Level, to take Core Maths. Equivalent to half an A-Level, Core Maths is taught by specialist maths teachers and is designed to strengthen the maths skills students will need to succeed in these courses.
