Unit 1 Physical Geography 2hr15 written paper – 30% of the final grade - Tectonic Processes and Hazards - The Water Cycle and Water Insecurity - The Carbon Cycle and Energy Security Unit 2 Human Geography 2hr15 written paper – 30% of the final grade - Globalisation - Superpowers Unit 3 Synoptic Links 2hr15 written paper – 20% of the final grade A resource booklet will be provided based on a geographical issue, students will answer questions based on the Players, Actions and Futures of this issue. Unit 4: Independent investigation Non-examination assessment – 20% of the final grade Students will select a topic to investigate and will have to produce a report 3000-4000 words based on research they have carried out.
