2 internally assessed controlled assignment-based units throughout the course – 1 in the first year, Unit 3 – Principles of MARKETING IN Travel and Tourism and 1 in the second year, Unit 9, Visitor Attractions 2 externally assessed unit. 1 taken at the end of the first year, Unit 1 – The World of Travel and Tourism, and the other taken at the end of the 2nd year, Unit 2 – Global destinations. Both examinations are 1 hour and 30 minutes long and are worth 75 marks
