Assessment

A Level Biology is assessed through a combination of knowledge-based exams and practical skill assessments, with the final grade determined by performance in the written exams. Practical skills are also assessed throughout the course, and students must complete a set of required practical activities. These contribute to the practical endorsement, which is a separate pass/fail assessment. There is no coursework component.
