Assessment

The two years lead to an A-Level qualification. At the end of year 13 there are three exams: listening, reading and writing exam (50%) which assesses skills within the context of the topics mentioned above, a writing exam which is essay style for the film and literary work taught (20%), and a speaking exam which will include a stimulus card but mostly a presentation and discussion based on the individual research topic (30%).
