Paper 1: Tectonic Processes and Hazards, Coastal Landscapes and Change, The Water Cycle and Water Insecurity & The Carbon Cycle and Energy Security. Written examination: 2 hours and 15 minutes 30% of the qualification. Paper 2: Section A: Globalisation and Superpowers. Section B: Shaping Places: Regenerating Places / Diverse Places. Section C: Global Development and Connections: Migration, Identity and Sovereignty. Written examination: 2 hours and 15 minutes 30% of the qualification. Paper 3: ● An externally-assessed written examination which draws on knowledge from across the course ● A resource booklet will contain information about the geographical issues including globalisation, superpowers, regeneration, water and carbon. Written examination: 2 hours and 15 minutes, 20% of the qualification.
