100% traditional exams. Assessed practical tasks are carried out in the classroom and you will be awarded a separate certificate of pass if you demonstrate the required practical standard. The AS consists of two exam papers. They include short and long answer questions and multiple choice questions. Each paper is worth 50% of the marks The A Level consists of three exam papers. They include short and long answer questions, multiple choice questions and questions about practical technique and data analysis. Two papers are worth 35% and the other is worth 30%.
