Assessment

Practical and Coursework (40%) - During Year 10 and Year 11. Moderated in Spring of Year 11. Coursework completed in Year 10 Practical assessments in different activities in the role of player/performer: - Assessment 1: Team Sport - Assessment 2: Individual Sport - Assessment 3: Team/Individual For each of their three activities, students will be assessed in skills in progressive drills (10 marks per activity) and in the full context (15 marks per activity). Students will also be assessed on their analysis (15 marks) and evaluation (10 marks) of performance to bring about improvement in one activity. This is done through coursework. Exam (60%) - Summer of Year 11 PE subject content of the 2 written papers completed: (Applied Anatomy and Physiology, Movement Analysis, Physical Training, Use of Data, Sport Psychology, Socio-Cultural Influences and Health Fitness and Wellbeing)
