September 2019

University

Beth studied Psychology, English Literature, Biology and Physical Education A Levels at Great Baddow High School. We are delighted that Beth is keen to come back to the school to chat to students about her degree, work or masters programme. She is also currently playing national league hockey with Old Georgians Hockey Club Her final degree title is Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences as well as a Masters LLM in International Sport Law in Practice. Beth is currently employed as a graduate PE teacher. I have an absolutely HUGE list of things I wish I knew before uni and would love to share this with current students.

University

Monique studied English Literature, Media Studies and Drama at Great Baddow High School and has recently graduated with a BA in Drama and Creative Writing with First Class Honours, from Royal Holloway University of London. We are looking forward to seeing Monique back at GBHS in the future to mentor sessions on the creative industries and talk about her experience in writing, theatre and film.

Apprenticeship

Emma studied English Language, Psychology and Performing Arts in Sixth Form at Great Baddow High School. Since leaving GBHS she has completed an 18 month apprenticeship in Cultural Learning and Participation and is now the Creative Learning Manager at Southend Theatres (the Cliffs Pavilion and Palace Theatre) where she organises, facilitates and oversees all of the community and education based engagement for both of their venues.
