Welcome to Staffordshire University Academy
Here at SUA6 our aim is to help shape the future achievers of the region, country and the world.Academic success happens when well-rounded individuals are given the tools to make their mark, these tools are a blend of both curricular and extra-curricular experiences, engagement and rigour that goes beyond the classroom. To this end, here at SUA6 we bring the outside in, participate in what is happening around the world whether that be through structured debate through the Great Conversation programme, ensuring awareness through free access to broadsheet newspapers and publications, engaging with and in the wider community, or allowing our post-16 students to lead.Academic success therefore becomes part of our bigger picture and is achieved through our small but perfectly formed, and evolving sixth form, with focused class sizes, academic support plans and mentoring and a steely determination that is mirrored by both staff and students alike. The seven year journey of secondary education is only part way along a pathway to interesting, fulfilling and difference-making careers for our students and therefore wider community, life chances of every one our young minds therefore are our drivers in order to aspire, believe and achieve in whatever our students want to.We have every confidence that in choosing to study at SUA6 you will achieve the qualifications and develop the necessary life skills ready for your chosen pathway after sixth form. Please do get in touch by emailing info@suacademy.co.uk if you would like to visit our academy and find out more about studying at SUA6.Dr. SilcockHead of SUA6

Having appeared on national Breakfast TV and on local radio Lucy stated that she, "wasn't expecting
such an exciting find as one of my firsts, and I don't think I will ever beat the feeling of seeing the coins
pecking out of the dirt in the pot." Lucy was also keen to thank SUA6 for its unwavering support and
guidance on her next steps. Lucy opted to study history, psychology and then, the new politics course
for her A Levels and all have had an impact on her current success.
