I am completing a training programme at the Central London School of Anaesthesia: mixture of applied physiology & pharmacology, procedural work and management of emergencies. I also provide medical support to Glastonbury and Reading festivals!”

My seven years at WGSB were filled with countless unforgettable memories. Rugby was a huge part and I made some fantastic friends who I still keep in touch with today. Playing rugby helped me develop important teamwork and communication skills, which are essential for my work now. I chose biology, chemistry, and geography, which gave me a balanced mix of practical and essay-based work

I studied Biology, Psychology, and English Literature in sixth form. I was involved in supporting the school’s drama productions and also a member of school’s Livewire Radio, as an audio technician and designing the relaunched station’s branding. In these extracurricular activities, you can see my passion for design and branding - which is the world I now inhabit. I took the apprenticeship route with the Ministry of Defence which ended unfortunately...ultimately down to a job role that wasn’t appropriate. I struck out on my own, secured a communications position where I supported one of London’s largest housing associations during the COVID-19 pandemic..going on to secure two positions at large, esteemed organisations in the following years. With a bit of grit and determination, I made it through and am now enjoying a successful early career. I’m in Marketing and Communications for the UK’s largest healthcare charity. I’m supporting our Chief Executive in his early months at this organisation, helping familiarise our 16,000 staff members with him and his realigned strategy. My job involves copywriting, content production, media handling, and brand strategy - it treads a fine line between a more creative position with a corporate head office position.
