Welcome to Park Academy West London

At Park Academy Sixth Form, we open the door to a world of boundless possibilities for every student. In the journey of education, few chapters are as pivotal as the transition to sixth form. This phase marks a profound shift, not just in academic rigour, but in personal growth, independence, and the forging of one’s identity. It is a time when students stand at the cusp of adulthood, armed with the tools to shape their own futures.

Nestled in the heart of our community, we offer a diverse range of educational pathways, including A-Levels and BTEC National Level 3 courses. We provide a dynamic learning environment that caters to every individual’s unique talents and aspirations.

Sixth form is a crucible where theoretical knowledge melds seamlessly with practical application. It is where the foundations laid in earlier years are honed into a razor-sharp intellect, preparing students for the challenges of higher education and the demands of the modern world. Beyond the confines of textbooks, this stage of education fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to engage with complex ideas.

With an unwavering commitment to academic rigour, our A-Level program is designed to challenge and inspire the leaders, innovators, and scholars of tomorrow. Through a comprehensive curriculum, we empower students to delve deep into their chosen subjects, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a thirst for knowledge. For those seeking a more hands-on, vocational approach, our BTEC National Level 3 courses offer a direct pathway to practical skills and real-world application. With industry-aligned programmes, we prepare students to step confidently into their chosen professions, armed with the expertise and
confidence to excel.

At Park Academy, we understand that success extends far beyond the classroom. That’s why our dedicated Pastoral Support Team provides a nurturing environment where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to overcome any challenges they may encounter on their academic journey. From one-on-one mentoring to group workshops, our team is committed to ensuring the holistic well-being of each and every student.

The significance of sixth form extends far beyond academic prowess. It is a time when character is forged, resilience is tested, and dreams are nurtured. It is a period of self-discovery, where passions are kindled, and latent talents are unearthed. Students of Park Academy not only benefit from outstanding academic resources, but also have access to a vibrant array of extracurricular clubs, enrichment activities, and events. This holistic approach to education fosters well-rounded individuals, instilling leadership skills, teamwork, and a sense of community.

At Park Academy Sixth Form Centre, we believe in the boundless potential of every student. Through our exceptional A-Level and BTEC National Level 3 programs, coupled with a dedicated Pastoral Support Team, we are shaping the leaders, thinkers, and change-makers of the future. Join us, and embark on a journey where your dreams take centre stage, where knowledge intertwines with aspiration, and where the seeds of tomorrow are sown today.

Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
At Park Academy West London, life in the Sixth Form extends beyond the academic. The enrichment programme is compulsory part of the Sixth Form programme for students in both Year 12 and Year 13. All students will experience a rich and varied range of opportunities which will provide them with the embodied cultural capital to succeed in our modern-day culture, wherever their next steps take them. All Sixth Form students at Park Academy have enrichment timetabled on a Wednesday afternoon, and this provides students with various opportunities including recreational sport and physical activity and a number of groups/clubs which are tailored to suit the interests of the students.

In Class Support

All students in Year 12 will undertake an hour of week of in class support within a particular subject area. Students will work with students who may be struggling on a particular topic or who needs help to focus, giving students a valuable experience but also improving younger students’ chances of success.

Work Experience

All students in Year 12 are encouraged to take up a work experience opportunity during the final weeks of the Summer Term. It is designed to help support UCAS and future career choices. This is essential for students wishing to progress to university courses in, for example, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Law and Teaching.

Student Leadership

Students are offered a range of opportunities to get involved in student leadership during their time in the Sixth Form. A major part of this is our Student Senior Leadership Team (SLT) which students apply for and go through a rigorous interview process prior to selection. Students in the Student SLT are the role models for all students within the Academy and who push for the very best in terms of student experience.
