Extra-curricular
Year 13 students have the opportunity to run for Sixth Form Leadership which consists of a Head Boy and two deputies and a Head Girl and two deputies. The Sixth Form Leadership team represent the College at many events, speak on behalf of the Sixth Form and wider college community, meet with governors and the College Leadership group including the Principal on a regular basis.
Introduced this academic year, we have a dedicated enrichment programme which is built into the Year 12 timetable. This means that all Year 12 students have 2 hours of protected time solely for the purpose of their personal development and well-being. Students have the opportunity to play sports, engage in an off-site work experience placement, participate in an extended project qualification (EPQ), or help support lower school lessons in subjects they love.
In Year 12, students are supported through a work experience programme whereby all students are required to participate in a work experience placement for a week.
