Assessment

As with all sciences, biology is fundamentally an experimental subject. Practical skills will be developed throughout the course and assessed within your final exams. Both exams will require the use of Higher tier GCSE mathematical skills. You will need to achieve a grade of 6 or above in mathematics to gain a place on the course.
