Entry Requirements

- Students are expected to enjoy reading both for pleasure and for study and to be willing to try a wide range of texts. Prospective students should achieve grade 6 or above in both Language and Literature GCSE. They will also be expected to show a real commitment to the subject and be prepared to extend learning through independent study. Students should use the library regularly to access critical material to inform understanding of texts and develop their own critical interpretations. - 5 or more GCSE grades 5 - 9 (or equivalent), all of which must be full GCSE courses.
