Step 3: Once you register, you will receive a Verification Email. Please log in to your email and verify your account. Step 4: Log in to the Application Portal as a “Registered User” using the Username and Password you created, in order to complete and submit your application. Step 5: Once you submit your application, we will then send a Reference Request to your Head of Year or Form tutor. Step 6: We will be in touch with an offer or a request for interview, pending the receipt of your reference. Step 7: If we invite you for an interview, we will inform you of the outcome of the interview by email. (Please note: Non-attendance to interviews, whether virtual or face to face, could result in your application being withdrawn). Step 8: If you have successfully been made an offer, you will receive your personal Enrolment date and time, which will take place straight after GCSE Results day. All Enrolment Appointments will be emailed out to offer holding students at the beginning of July.

How are offers given?

Any offers made by the College are conditional. Offers are made on the following conditions being met: 1. A satisfactory reference 2. Residency in the UK must be valid for the duration of your course at St Charles 3. Entry requirements for the courses are met. Should an applicant change their mind or fail to qualify for their desired courses, we will make every effort to allocate an alternative course at Enrolment.

Are there specific entry criteria for each course?

Yes. Depending on the course level, every subject has individual entry criteria. The entry criteria for each course can be found on our website: www.stcharles.ac.uk

Do you accept transfer students who completed Year 12 in another College?

Unfortunately we do not accept transfer students. However, you can make an application and restart Year 12 with us at St Charles.

What is the process once I have submitted my application?

On receipt of your application we will check that all the necessary documents have been uploaded and that all the information you have provided is accurate and included. We will then send your referee a reference request. On receipt of their reference, we aim to respond with an offer or invitation for interview within 10 working days. Please contact us should you have any queries or if you have not heard back for any reason.

How can I check the status of my application?

You can check the status of your application by logging in to the Application Portal. Your status will appear on your homepage.

When does Enrolment take place?

Enrolment takes place after GCSE Results day. At the beginning of July you will receive your own designated Enrolment Appointment, which you must confirm you will attend. At this Enrolment Appointment you will bring your GCSE Exam Results and discuss with a member of our Enrolment Team what courses you wish to enrol onto.
